Our one week online review period is over as of Wednesday and now Micah Shapiro of Grindline Skateparks is planning to return to Parkersburg next Tuesday, November 23rd, this time at the City Building downtown at 6:00pm to present an updated draft of the design. Hope to see you there.
Apparently local news anchor Todd Baucher has been out living a double life as a pro skate boarder shredding it up on the pro circuit. What do you think?

I read so many complaints in the comments sections on local websites about the skate park, always implying that Parkersburg is such a poor and desperate city we can’t afford to spend money on anything that isn’t a 100% necessity for survival….. unless it is to fix pot holes, fixing pot holes is very important to people in Parkersburg. But as demonstrated in this short film, sometimes survival is more about something on the inside than something on the outside, and sometimes trivial things like skate boarding can do more for survival than anything else.
